Bayern Munich Dominate Bundesliga Early, Harry Kane Leads the Charge

Seven rounds into the Bundesliga, Bayern Munich are already pulling ahead. Harry Kane is leading the charge. Ahead of Saturday’s trip to Borussia Moenchengladbach, Bayern sit five points clear of RB Leipzig. They remain unbeaten in all competitions.

Bayern have won all 12 matches so far. They are the only team in Europe’s top five leagues yet to drop points. Kane has been central to their dominance. The England captain has scored 20 goals in those 12 victories, including 12 goals and three assists in seven Bundesliga games.

His impact goes beyond scoring. Last Saturday, in a 2-1 win over Borussia Dortmund, Kane played as a number 10 behind striker Nicolas Jackson. He defended, created chances and linked up with wingers Michael Olise and Luis Diaz. Kane opened the scoring with a perfect header from a corner in the 21st minute.

Speculation surrounds Kane’s future but he hinted he may stay in Germany. His coach, Vincent Kompany, recently extended his contract until 2029. “We’re in a great position. I feel good. Kompany is key to why I enjoy being here,” Kane said after Bayern’s 4-0 Champions League win over Club Brugge.

Bayern’s squad could improve further. Jamal Musiala trained for the first time since an ankle injury in July. Initially expected back in 2026, he could return before Christmas. Musiala said, “It felt great. I want to come back at 100 percent.” Alphonso Davies is also progressing from an ACL tear.

Elsewhere, RB Leipzig travel to Augsburg. Borussia Dortmund hosts Cologne. Dortmund’s Fabio Silva, once a struggling Premier League striker, impressed recently. He scored his first goal against Copenhagen and is earning more minutes under coach Niko Kovac.

Key stats show Bayern’s dominance and rivals’ struggles. Moenchengladbach remain winless. Eintracht Frankfurt have conceded 18 goals. RB Leipzig have taken 16 of 18 points since a 6-0 loss to Bayern.

With Kane in form and stars returning, Bayern look set to continue their dominant run in the Bundesliga.
