Community Unites for Third Great Chepsaita Cross Country Run Set for December 6

Preparations are in full swing for the third Great Chepsaita Cross Country Run. The event is scheduled for December 6, 2025. Athletes, residents and sports fans from across the region are expected to attend. Organizers aim to showcase local talent and boost community development.

A special prayer day was held at Chepsaita Grounds. Hundreds of religious leaders, athletes, and locals gathered to bless the course. They dedicated the event to God and prayed for its success. The ceremony highlighted the community’s strong support for sports and youth development.

Farouk Kibet, the race patron, presided over the event. He emphasized that the run is a platform to nurture local athletes. He also highlighted its role in promoting education and social growth. Several leaders attended the prayer day. They included Lurambi MP Titus Khamala, Navakholo MP Emmanuel Wangwe, and Malava parliamentary aspirant David Ndakwa.
