President William Ruto says Kenya can change completely under long-term, steady leadership. He urged Kenyans to imagine what consistent planning and sustained investment could achieve. Roads, schools, markets, and healthcare could all improve. Communities across the country could benefit.

Ruto spoke in Kiambu County while commissioning the dualling of the Rironi–Mau Summit highway. He said large projects need time, focus, and commitment. Building houses and markets may take a few years. Transforming a country takes decades. He asked citizens to picture Kenya after ten or twenty years of uninterrupted development. He added that short-term leadership cannot achieve lasting results.
He promised faster upgrades in Kiambu. Roads would be wider. Schools would be modern. Markets would expand. Healthcare would become more accessible. He said infrastructure drives economic growth. Improved roads cut travel time and costs. Businesses would thrive. Communities would gain opportunities. He added that Kiambu could serve as a model for the nation. Strategic investment and steady progress can make it happen.
Ruto emphasised inclusive development. No region would be left behind. He reminded Kenyans they voted for growth, not tribal interests. Unity strengthens the country. Shared purpose drives progress. He called on citizens to stay focused and work together.
He highlighted partnerships and public-private collaboration. These would tackle unemployment. They would close gaps in infrastructure. They would expand access to essential services. Long-term investment would open opportunities for youth and businesses. He said Kenya could move closer to first-world standards. Citizens must focus on long-term gains, not short-term frustrations. Ruto insisted that only consistent leadership can rebuild the country. He said it is the key to transforming Kenya into a modern, competitive nation.
