“Hawana Akili!” – Ruto’s Blistering Attacks on Opposition Ignite Political Heat in Ukambani

President William Ruto’s tour of Ukambani has triggered a major political storm. His strong language toward the opposition has shocked many. Supporters cheer him. Critics say he is breaking his own rules.

Ruto has taken a harsh tone in his speeches. He says the opposition has no ideas. He claims they cannot lead Kenya. He often calls them brainless and useless. His attacks grow sharper each day.

In Makueni, he targeted opposition leaders directly. He told people they have no plan. He said they have no development agenda. “Mpango hana. Sera hana. Ajenda hana. Akili hana,” he said. The crowd cheered loudly. His message landed well with supporters.

He repeated the same message in Kitui. This time, he became even more personal. “Hata akili,” he added. He laughed as the crowd reacted. He blamed the region’s slow development on the opposition. He told residents that they must shift politically. He promised growth if they support him instead.

Not everyone agreed with his style. In Wote, Makueni Woman Representative Suzanne Kiamba stood up. She challenged the President calmly. She said every leader deserves respect. “Hakuna mtu ameumbwa na sura ya Mungu atakuwa bure kabisa,” she told the audience. People clapped in support of her statement.

However, Ruto continued his verbal attacks. He scolded those who question his decisions. He called them “wapumbavu.” He said they think Kenyans are fools. He dismissed their views as cheap politics.

His critics see a clear contradiction. Ruto often condemns politics of insults. He asks Kenyans to ignore hateful language. He says leaders should unite the country. But his words in Ukambani tell a different story.

Observers say his comments may backfire. They fear it could deepen political divisions. Others believe his tough language energizes his base. For now, the reactions remain mixed.

The tour has ended, but the tension has not. His words continue to echo across Ukambani. Supporters feel encouraged. Opponents feel attacked. The political heat he created is still rising.
