Former U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said in a recent interview that the Bible still remains the biggest influence on her thinking, adding that she finds it to be “a source of wisdom, comfort and encouragement.”
While promoting her new book Hard Choices, Clinton told New York Times Book Review that she attributes the Bible as the most influential book for shaping who she is today. “At the risk of appearing predictable, the Bible was and remains the biggest influence on my thinking. I was raised reading it, memorizing passages from it and being guided by it. I still find it a source of wisdom, comfort and encouragement.”
