US President Donald Trump has sparked a fresh storm after blasting media reports that question his health. He called the stories “seditious” and “treasonous.” The late-night rant appeared on his Truth Social page.

Trump said he works harder than any president before him. He insisted his hours are long and his results strong. He accused journalists of creating false stories to damage him. He also claimed he recently passed long medical exams. He said he “aced” cognitive tests.
The president then escalated his attack. He said The New York Times should shut down. He branded the paper biased and untruthful. He said the country would be better off without it. Yet he often accuses the same media of ignoring Joe Biden’s health issues. Biden quit the 2024 race after concerns about his age and performance.
The New York Times pushed back. The outlet defended its reporting. It said the information came from credible sources. It also said Americans deserve clear updates about their leaders’ health. The paper accused Trump of using “false and inflammatory” language. It added that it will not be intimidated.
Concerns about Trump’s stamina had already been growing. He appeared tired at several events. Reports later revealed he took an MRI during an extra medical check in October. These details raised further questions.
But Trump dismissed all claims. He pointed to a lively rally this week. He joked. He danced. He sang. He attacked rivals and the media with renewed energy. He said he remains sharp and alert.
In his post, Trump warned critics not to expect him to slow down. He said he would know if that moment ever comes. “But it’s not now,” he wrote.
