Joseph Kamotho, a former minister and ex-Kanu party secretary-general, has passed on.
His son Jimmy Kamotho confirmed the former minister died Saturday morning at Milpark Hospital in Johannesburg, South Africa.
Mr Kamotho has been admitted at the hospital for the last one month.
His health status hit the headlines during campaigns for the Murang’a senate seat in 2013 General Elections after he was taken ill while addressing a meeting at Ihura Stadium.
John Joseph Kamotho was a Kenyan politician. He was minister for the Education, minister for Trade, minister for Environment and Natural Resources and a former member of parliament for the Mathioya Constituency and Kangema Constituency.
