A taxi driver mysteriously vanished while on duty, leaving his family and the public deeply concerned. Such cases have been troubling Kenyans in recent years. On December 5, the middle-aged driver left home with his car in good condition, unaware of the ordeal that awaited him.

According to the Sikika Road Safety Facebook Group, the driver’s wife called him at around 3 pm. The two had a lively conversation, during which he sounded normal and healthy. However, by 11 pm, when she tried calling again, his phone was switched off. Since then, both the man and his vehicle have disappeared without a trace.
The family is enduring immense anxiety, desperate for news about their loved one and the taxi. Friends, neighbors, and the public have expressed their heartbreak online, highlighting the growing concern over drivers disappearing while at work. Social media users have urged anyone with information to come forward to help the family.
The Sikika Road Safety Group called for public assistance. “Kenyans and our followers, please unite and share this information. A single share can make a huge difference. If you have any leads, contact us at 0707861787,” the group urged.
Authorities have not yet released updates on the investigation. Meanwhile, the family continues to hold on to hope, appealing to the public and law enforcement for any clues that could lead to the safe return of the driver and his car.
This disappearance has reignited debates on road safety and the vulnerability of taxi drivers in Kenya. Citizens are stressing the need for stricter safety measures and vehicle tracking systems to prevent similar incidents. The public is urged to stay alert, report tips immediately, and share widely to increase the chances of finding the missing driver.
As three days pass without any leads, the family’s anxiety intensifies. Every share and tip is critical in helping authorities locate the taxi driver and ensure his safe return.
