“Your Time Is Up”: Wiper Warns Ruto to Stop Attacking Kalonzo and Focus on Governing

Political temperatures are rising. Wiper Democratic Movement has issued a strong warning to President William Ruto. The party wants him to stop attacking Kalonzo Musyoka. It says he should focus on governing the country.

The warning follows sharp remarks by President Ruto. He dismissed Kalonzo’s criticism of his development agenda. He termed him a pessimist. He also questioned Kalonzo’s authority to challenge government plans. Those comments triggered an immediate backlash.

In a statement, Wiper said the attacks show panic. The party argued that the President is politically cornered. It accused him of using Kalonzo as a distraction. The goal, it claimed, is to divert attention from public frustration with the government.

Wiper also alleged the use of propaganda. It said digital attacks are being deployed against the opposition leader. The party claimed the strategy aims to weaken Kalonzo’s image. It linked the moves to early campaigns for the 2027 elections.

“Ruto knows what every Kenyan knows. His time is up,” the statement said. “In his desperation, he has unleashed propaganda to destroy what he cannot buy. That is Kalonzo Musyoka’s integrity and the people’s trust.”

The party insisted the conflict is not about development. It said the attacks reflect fear. It claimed the President sees defeat coming. It accused him of trying to capture opposition zones instead of delivering results.

Wiper urged the President to change focus. It called on him to concentrate on leadership. It pointed to the high cost of living. It cited unemployment. It mentioned public debt. The party said Kenyans want solutions. They want action. They want accountability. It warned that personal attacks will not silence the opposition.

As the exchange continues, political tensions remain high. Wiper said Kalonzo will stay firm. It said he will continue speaking out. The party insisted the final verdict lies with voters in 2027.
