Mostly known for Wewe Pekee, Upendo Ule Ule, Zaidi and Tayari , her love for music started at the tender age of 7 and she then started writing songs while in high school.

We talk more about how she started her music journey and the challenges she experienced. Read Below

In 2009 she released her first Single by the name “WEWE PEKEE”[You alone]. This song tells of her testimony and the love of God which causes her to praise and worship Him alone. This song and others that are found in this album continue to inspire many as she tells of the Goodness of the lord.

Yet she didn’t start off as the singer she’s now become – her first port of call was a bank job. Lacking fulfillment, she opted to resign, with no back-up plan in sight.

Without looking back, Alice knew it was time to live her life’s purpose; music. After all, she had always known she could sing. While she was just seven years old, she was already imitating popular artistes.

She would go ahead to win a talent competition in Form One, and subsequently lend her vocals on a musical compilation for the school. In Form Three, she started writing her own songs.

During this time, she rededicated her life to Christ and was told by the preacher who led her to this commitment that she would be a great singer. Thankfully, Alice did not have to look far when time to record her debit single came.

Her brother in law, decorated producer Robert “R-Kay” Kamanzi, who she describes as her mentor, was just a stones throw away. The song and video performed exceptionally well, and within no time, the hitherto unknown artist was not only on the charts, but a talking point in the Gospel music industry.

What Inspires Her Singing

Her driving force in her musical career and ministry comes from God’s word that ‘Humility’ and ‘Love’ is key to serving God.Romans 12 is her guide line to her life in God’s Service

Here is her new video did in 2010 but recently released. Nimfahamu Yesu
