Jubilee Christian Church Bishop Allan Kiuna is Dead

Nairobi, Kenya – The Jubilee Christian Church (JCC) community is in mourning following the unexpected passing of Bishop Allan Kiuna, the esteemed founder and preacher of the church. Bishop Kiuna, a pillar of strength and faith, had recently announced his victorious battle against cancer.

Tragically, Bishop Kiuna passed  while receiving treatment at Aga Khan Hospital in Nairobi after experiencing a relapse of his illness. Just months ago, on Sunday, December 10 2023, during a heartfelt Thanksgiving ceremony at the JCC headquarters in Nairobi, Bishop Kiuna shared the uplifting news of his recovery. He had spent a year in the United States undergoing treatment, leaving for the US in December 2022 amidst his battle with the illness. His courageous fight and subsequent victory over cancer were a source of inspiration and hope to many.

Standing before his congregation, Bishop Kiuna recounted his challenging journey and expressed profound gratitude for the support he received. He revealed the immense cost of his treatment, which exceeded $3 million (over Sh459,900,000), emphasizing the financial and emotional toll of his health battle.

The Thanksgiving ceremony was filled with joy and relief as Bishop Kiuna declared himself cancer-free, attributing his recovery to divine intervention and the prayers of his followers. His resilience and faith were celebrated widely, making his sudden demise all the more heartbreaking for the JCC community and beyond.

Bishop Kiuna’s legacy extends far beyond his health triumph. He was known for his passionate preaching, community outreach, and unwavering commitment to his faith. His passing leaves a significant void in the hearts of many who looked up to him for spiritual guidance and inspiration.
