Willis Raburu has taken two companies to court. He says they failed to pay him KSh10 million for work done during the Furaha City Festival in December 2024. He claims his company, Steizon Limited, delivered everything as agreed but received nothing in return. He says the non-payment has hurt his business and damaged his reputation.

Raburu says the contract was signed on December 6, 2024. His team was hired to handle digital promotion, branding, influencer marketing, logistics and full event coordination. He argues that the events company never signed physically but the deal still stands because both firms acted on it. His lawyers say the companies approved work, shared instructions and allowed the event to proceed. Raburu insists this proves the contract was valid.
He says his team worked hard. They produced over 60 reels, made more than 100 posts and pushed the event to reach over one million people online. They managed influencers, media teams, security and all event logistics. Yet, he says, the companies refused to pay a single shilling. He says this has caused financial strain and pushed suppliers to question his credibility.
Raburu now wants the court to confirm the contract is binding. He is asking for immediate payment of the KSh10 million plus interest. He also wants damages for breach of contract and harm to his reputation. He further wants the court to suspend one company’s operating license until they pay up. He says there is no other case on the matter and that the dispute belongs in this court.
