Award winning gospel singer and mentor Daddy Owen is set to host yet again Malaika Tribute Awards which recognizes and celebrates person’s with disability.
Malaika Tribute Awards was hosted last year on 18th December and graced by major partners who appreciate disabled persons. The awards will be hosted by Malaika Trust (founded by Daddy Owen) to celebrate the achievements of remarkable people who have overcome their disabilities.
This year will be even much better as they aim to give recognition to the unsung heroes with disabilities in the Kenyan Society.
Some of last years winners were :
- Young Achiever: Sports -Shadrack Wambugu
- Innovator of the Year – Barrack Ounga
- Notable Educator of the Year Award – Dr. Michael Ndurumo
- Lifetime Achievement Award – Mary Atieno
- Special Recognition Award – Ruth Mueni
- Young Achiever: Arts & Music Award – Martha Ouko
