H.E President Uhuru Kenyatta made a surprise visit to Westgate Mall a day after it was officially re-opened by Nairobi Governor Evans Kidero.
Nairobi residents had anticipated that the President would officially open the mall on Saturday but there was a change of plans when the Governor made the call of gracing the occassion. With many having moved on with shopping at the mall they were caught by surprise on Sunday evening when H.E Uhuru Kenyatta popped in at the mall with his arm of security men.
As usual the President didn’t forget to show that he is a normal Kenyan when he visited one of the shops and bought a plastic of mango juice. In attendance during the surprise visit was Senator Kipchumba Murkomen and Honorable Ferdinand Waititu who was recently voted in as the member of parliament for Kabete.
