Why You Should Always Wait On GOD’s Time

Lord I will wait post

Helping God out without His permission can DELAY your blessing/promise and in other cases cut your life short. Here are 2 people in the Bible who HELPED God OUT and the consequences they faced. Of course there’s a lot of people but this 2 were key .

helping-hand post

Up first we have Abraham. God promised Abraham a heir [Genesis 15:4 ] “Then the word of the LORD came to him: “This man will not be your heir, but a son who is your own flesh and blood will be your heir.” He took him.”” but In [Genesis 16:1-2], we find that Abraham tried to help God out by complying with Sarah to take her Egyptian maid and laying with her and through that Ishmael was conceived.

Abraham’s hand of help to God brought many future problems among his descendants, for Ishmael was not the seed of promise, but rather his descendants have been the enemy of the Jews to this day.

Up next we have King Saul who tried to help God out: he got tired of waiting for Samuel to offer the sacrifice, and decided to take care of business himself.
(Read 1 Samuel 13:7-14) In his panic, he set off a chain reaction of events that led to his downfall. His intentions were understandable.

After all, God had promised him victory over his enemies. Because King Saul didn’t wait for God’s servant Samuel to offer the offering, King Saul ended up loosing his Kingdom and God raised up someone who was after His own heart. DAVID.

We in this generation still try to help God out and we end up ruining our lives. Many people marry SOMEONE because they got tired of waiting for God to send the RIGHT person(who God has in mind for them) into their lives. So they take their chances with the best available option, figuring they’ll fix him/her up. And boy, do they pay a HIGH PRICE for their impatience.

GOD DOESN’T NEED OUR HELP. If He did He would have asked us. He desires our obedient cooperation. If you’re going to expect God’s BEST, you’ll have to do it God’s way.

Sometimes we help God out because we lack Faith. And no matter what we do or say, as long God has promised you something, it will come to pass. But if you want it to pass at God’s own timing, let Him do it.

DON’T HELP HIM OUT. For God is well able to fulfill all He has said. His Promises are YES and AMEN. Just Believe in Him.
