A nine year old Nigerian girl , Splendour Joe Abisoye who has gone out of her way to write a book on terrorism dubbed as “Effects of terrorism to children” . The lovely lady presented the book to the Nigeria Director of Defence and Information , Major general Chris Olukolade in Abuja on 2nd of July 2015.
Splendour explained in her book on her experience when she visited an IDP camp and what some of the children there told her.She said that the minds of most of the children have been debased. For instance, Splendour said, many of them were said to prefer to join Boko Haram group to ensure their protection. Her inspiration was further boosted to write with the understanding that these terrorists were once children and only proper education could guarantee a terror-free society.
She was accompanied to the Nigeria Army Headquarters by her parents .
