Notes and the remains of the cash machine were strewn over the street after a gang of criminals blew up the front of a cash machine with explosive gas before escaping with thousands of pounds.
This crime took place at the HSBC branch in Brislington, Bristol and this the fifth burglary of its kind in the area in the last 18 months.
Authorities are looking for a group of men dressed in dark clothing and are reviewing CCTV footage.
An Avon and Somerset Police spokesman said: ‘An investigation has begun to establish what happened.
‘Some money was left lying on the ground. We don’t know how much was taken.’
