Breakups among celebrities in the Kenyan entertainment industry seem to be at an all-time high. Brown Mauzo and Vera Sidika separated after a few years of marriage and two children and Phil Director and Kate Actress separated as well. Mungai Eve and Director Trevor are joining the new single list.
The couple is known to be a power duo with the two having built an online brand worth hundreds of thousands in just a few years. Trevor was the man behind the camera while Eve was the face of the brand interviewing celebrities and keeping her growing audience informed.
On his Instagram story, Trevor shared the news that he will be taking over three social media platform pages that he previously co-owned with Mungai Eve. That is their YouTube that boasts over 754,000 subscribers, Facebook page with over 847,000 followers, and Instagram page as well.
Trevor went on to announce that Mungai Eve’s services will no longer be needed in the production of any of those platforms henceforth. Insinuating that there will be a new face in front of the cameras replacing Eve.
The director went on to share the new rebranding of their previously co-owned social media platforms. He has now changed it to Kenya Online Media from Mungai Eve. Proving that he is currently the one managing the platforms.
In an old video that has recently surfaced, Trevor and Eve are seen answering a question on what happens if the two break up considering they co-own the profitable social media platforms. Trevor is quick to answer that everything becomes Eve’s because her name is on all platforms and claims that he can easily create another profitable YouTube channel.
Blogger and politician Robert Alai has advised Mungai Eve in a post on X (formerly Twitter) to take legal action against Trevor. Added that he has seen the great extent Mungai Eve has taken to make the platforms grow.
