Jacque Maribe is extinguishing any sparks of romance rumours between her and digital strategist Dennis Itumbi. The former news anchor has been seen together with Dennis on several occasions leading to speculations.
On Dennis’ birthday, Jacque took the opportunity to clear the air on where she stood with him. On her Instagram story, the former news anchor made it clear that Dennis and her have been friends for two decades.
Maribe finished off the post by expressing that the group of people in the picture she posted would help Dennis find a wife during his new year so that people stop assuming that she was his wife.
“This new year around the sun, this group in this picture will help you find a wife, so everyone stops assuming it is me. Happy Birthday D.I”
Jacque was recently acquitted of murder charges of businesswoman Monica Kimani. She was then said to be appointed as the new head of Communication in the Ministry of Public Service headed by Moses Kuria.
The Public Service Commission and Moses Kuria however denied the claims of her appointment. Moses Kuria went further to threaten the media house that shared supposed texts that he sent to a journalist called Mwangi Muiruri.
Mwangi was allegedly attacked for publishing that story. He was attacked on Friday along the Nairobi_Nyeri highway by three armed men who were reportedly using a Mazda Demio with a covered number plate.
They took his phone and some money that he had leaving him with a bruised eye. He later reported the matter to Makutano Police Station.
