Kenya’s first daughter Charlene Ruto is undoubtedly the most actively media-covered child of a ruling president. Ever since her father took the post, Charlene has been on different media coverage due to various reasons.
This time around, Charlene Ruto is making headlines due to her new job title. The Health Cabinet Secretary Nakhumicha appointed the first daughter as Kenya’s Blood Ambassador. According to the Ministry of Health, this is because of her efforts to mobilize resources that support the blood donation initiative.
“This letter is to appoint you as Kenya Blood Ambassador and ask that you continue to be a spokesman to your friends, Kenyan youth family, peers, and Kenyan citizens to engage and encourage people to give blood to save lives.”
Charlene took to X (formerly known as Twitter) to thank Susan Nakhumicha and the Health Ministry for appointing her as the Kenya Blood Ambassador. She went on to add that people should donate blood.
A few weeks back, Charlene Ruto was a media interest when photos of her with Daddy Owen and his mother leaked online. The two had earlier sparked dating rumors after photos of them together were doing rounds online.
Daddy Owen addressed the reason why Charlene Ruto paid a visit to Daddy Owen’s mother back in his village in Kakamega. According to the Kenyan gospel artist, the visit was the pinnacle of his year.
