Who is Annette?
Annette Tenaya is a born again anointed lady who uses her gift in music to impact the world.
Did you see yourself singing as a gospel singer?
Yes, because I believe that the gospel is the power of salvation unto everyone.
What drove you into singing?
The passion that was inside me, to see a difference in the world, to be the solution and the fact that I realized its ability that God has given me.
When did you meet Christ and how has the journey been like?
I met Christ in 2001 and as I continued growing I started understanding who I am in Christ. Through it all I have experienced God’s joy and grace. His grace has been sufficient.
Is there someone who inspires you as a gospel singer, local, International?
Internationally I love music by Sinach, Kristine Alicia. Locally ZOE, Gloria Muliro and Makena.
Who would you love to work with in future?
Gloria Muliro.
Can you relate your music with preaching?
Yes, I see it as a platform of winning souls to Christ and I can term myself as a minister because my main goal is to reconcile people unto God.
Please tell us about your new song ‘Wanitosheleza’. Is it your first song and what message do you wish to pass across in the song?

Yes it’s my first song that I have recorded and done a video thanks to God. The message is, God satisfies. It doesn’t matter what challenges you have passed through, if you acknowledge Christ’s Lordship over your life then He can change your situation.
What else do you do currently apart from music and what’s your hope and dreams?
I am currently a first year student at the University of Nairobi and my dream is to continually bring fresh and new music that has message to everyone in the world, win more souls and be the solution in the world
