Afrobeat Star Tiwa Savage Reports Davido Of Harrasment

Two of the biggest Afrobeat artists are in a heated disagreement that has escalated to law involvement. Unavailable hitmaker Davido and My Heart hitmaker Tiwa Savage are clashing heads.

Tiwa Savage accuses Davido of online and offline harassment of her and her team. According to the singer, Davido sent her a message through her manager who is also part of his management team, that he did not want her to talk to him again.

Davido’s message to her was a reaction after Tiwa posted on her Instagram story a post with one of Davido’s baby mamas, Sophia Momodu whom they share a child. According to sources, Davido and Sophia are not on good terms.

“Mr. David Adeleke sent messages to my managers also part of his management team that is should not worry and I should never say a word to him and that I was taunting him. Uttering very disrespectful, malicious, and derogatory words to my person.”

In a letter addressed to the Lagos State Command that was posted on X (formerly Twitter), Tiwa wrote that her response to Davido’s message was that she did not want him to reach out to her and was disappointed even though she had been there for his daughter Imade and when he lost his son.

According to her letter, she has received calls and messages from their mutual connections asking her what she did to Davido. Those reaching out to her in concern have claimed that Davido has been painting her as the aggressor and is upset that she chose to retain her relationship with Sophia, with whom Davido has issues.

Tiwa Savage adds that Davido told their mutual connections to warn her and threatened to cause her harm. She points out that she feels harassed both online and offline as well as her team. The letter concludes with the singer sharing that Davido’s actions are unethical and a violation of her rights.
