“Maana Kubwa Kwangu Mami” : Bahati Awarded As The Best Gospel Artiste In Africa

The life of Bahati couldn’t get any better as he got another accolade after scooping Groove Awards 2014. Bahati has been named the Best Gospel Artiste in Africa in the Afrimma Awards 2014 hosted at the Eisemann Center in Texas, USA.

AFRIMMA is the only awards show organised in the Diaspora that caters to all musical genres including but not limited to: Afrobeats, Assiko, Bongo, Decale, Funana, Genge, Highlife, Hiplife, Kwaito, Lingala and Soukous.  The star-studded event attracted guests from various cities throughout the United States as well as guests and honorees from over 17 African Countries.

Bahati became the star among the others after a successful online campaign from fellow gospel artistes, presenters and blogs in Kenya.

He was nominated under the best gospel artiste category in Africa along other nominees from Africa who included :

Nikki Laoye (Nigeria)
Emmy Kosgei
Uche Agu (Nigeria)
Ntokozo Mbambo (South Africa)
Sonnie Badu (Ghana)
Icha Kavons (Congo)
The awards was hosted by  international celebrity Comedian, Basket Mouth along with Nollywood Beauty Sensation and Actress, Juliet Ibrahim.
