Ruto Mourns Legendary Musician Ally B

President William Ruto has come out to mourn the sudden passing of celebrated Coastal musician Ally B.

In a post on his Twitter page, the Head of state came out to share a heartwarming message to Kenyans after Ally B’s death.

“I join the music fraternity in mourning the passing of Ally B, a musician who harnessed his talent to foster unity and harmony in our society,” read the post.

He added that Ally B had inscribed his message of peace deep within our hearts and would forever carry that meaningful tune.

Ali Khamisi Mwaliguli popularly known as Ally B died on Wednesday afternoon at the Coast General Teaching and Referral Hospital in Mombasa.

According to his brother Mohammed Ally B returned home from his errands and said that he was not feeling well.

“We took him to Coast General but he did not make it,” he said.

Before his sudden death, Ally B was well known for his popular track Maria among other songs such as Bembea, Silali featuring Size 8, Kwangu 254, Zegede, Dekadeka,  etc.

Earlier in 2017, Ally B had tried his hand at politics when he vied for the Member of County Assembly seat(MCA) IN Junda Ward in Kisauni, Mombasa County under the Jubilee party ticket.
