For far too long now, poaching has been a menace to our wildlife with our great African elephants being the most affected. Since neither you or I want to see these great beasts go extinct, we must take a stand. What better way than to raise funds and have fun at the same time by attending Night of the African Elephant.
Night of the African Elephant is an event put together in order to bring to light the challenges faced on the ground by conservationists, rangers and communities living with wildlife. It is hoped that by raising awareness on these critical factors, it will garner heightened support for this important cause from the private and international sectors.
Night of the African Elephant will be hosted at the Tribe hotel on the 18th of July, 2015 from 6.30 p.m. and will run as a benefit concert featuring world-renowned artist, Ayub Ogada, with a fusion of traditional African dance alongside critical conservation awareness elements. His music has been featured on soundtracks of films such as ‘I Dreamed of Africa’ (2000), ‘The Constant Gardener’ (2005) and ‘Samsara’ (2011).
