Are you feeling stressed and overwhelmed? Are you worried about tomorrow? Well, God’s grace is sufficient. In His words are promises that should calm your heart and give peace to your mind. Own these promises, as you pray, remind Him of them. You will find rest in Him.
Phillipians 4:6-7 : Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
Matthew 11:28-30 : Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”
Isaiah 43:18-19 : “Remember not the former things, nor consider the things of old. Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.
Psalms 55:22 : Cast your burden on the Lord, and he will sustain you; he will never permit the righteous to be moved.
James 1:5-8 : If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him. But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea that is driven and tossed by the wind. For that person must not suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord; he is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.
